Dr. Galen Hurl

Dr. Galen began his passion for natural health and healing when coming to a decision about attending medical school.  As he interviewed with numerous medical schools, and observed medical doctors performing day to day tasks, he was also introduced to natural health through a book.  For the first time in his life Dr. Galen had a clear vision of purpose for his life, and also for the first time had an enthusiasm and zeal to spread this message.  Dr. Galen then sought out Chiropractic and began his journey to becoming a chiropractor.  During four years of education at Life University College of Chiropractic, Dr. Galen understood the true meaning of health: the state of complete mental, social, and physical well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.  He also discovered his personal mission: to serve God by serving the people of his community through the vehicle of Chiropractic.

Dr. Galen has achieved Certified Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique, which has been proven through research to be the most specific, scientific chiropractic technique in the world. Torque Release Technique is the first chiropractic technique of the new millennium and provides practice members of any age with the most gentle and reproducible chiropractic adjustments.

While growing a successful practice in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for 5 years, Dr. Galen was able to help countless adults and children through Chiropractic care. Dr. Galen and his wife, Hilary, now reside in the Shenango Valley with their 6 wonderful children.  Their free time is spent with the family enjoying the outdoors and raising a healthy, active family. Dr. Galen’s family shares his passion and enthusiasm for chiropractic and changing the health of our community.

During Principled Chiropractic's first year in the Shenango Valley, Dr. Galen was awarded a 40 Under 40 award for his professional achievements, activities, and milestones. He is also honored that Principled Chiropractic was nominated by our community as Best of the Best Chiropractor!
